Manufacturing Process

Sintering (also known as power metallurgy) is the process of blending fine powdered materials, pressing them into a desired shape or form (compacting). It is performed in a controlled atmosphere at a temperature below the melting point of the materials.

Sintering allow to obtain solids of controlled dimension. They will be immediately ready to be employed, thus avoiding further working in most cases.

The strongest part of our manufacture process is the chemical department. There, we produce all the different types of silver powders employed in the most sophisticated materials. In the same department we recover the production wastage, so as to actually close the vertical integration cycle inside our own firm.

The following scheme represents the sequence of operations and processes, executed for the majority of the produced materials.
